Assalamu alaikum
We are pleased to announce that Luton Central Masjid and Saints area Masjid will reopen for the public on Saturday 4th July 2020 from Fajr salah for congregational prayers.
Worshippers must wear masks and bring their own prayer mats and bag for shoes.
Unfortunately you will be refused entry if you do not have ANY of these items.
Please note shoe racks will not be in use. You will have to keep your shoes with you at all times in a bag. Whilst praying place your shoe bag besides your prayer mat.
You will be escorted by a security officer to a marked place to pray. Please DO NOT leave your prayer place unless you are told to or until you are escorted out.
For LCM:
A one way system has been put in place, please enter from the Leagrave Road car park and follow ALL instructions given by the appointed security officers.
The exit will be on the Westbourne Road side.
Please note car parks will remain closed so please try to walk to and from the masjid as much as possible.
Wudu areas will also remain closed so worshippers need to make Wudu at home.
Please do not attend if you or anybody in your household:
- is feeling unwell
- display any flu/cold symptoms
- have underlying health conditions
We strongly advise the elderly and vulnerable to continue to pray at home.
Worshippers should pray their Sunnah and Nafl prayers at home.
Social distancing rules must also be followed at all times.
Children under the age of 11 will not be allowed entry - as they will find it difficult to follow instructions.
Please understand that these regulations have been put into place in line with the government guidelines and for public safety. The Masājid can only operate if these guidelines are being implemented.
We humbly request you to adhere to these guidelines so that doors of the Masājid can continue to stay open for us all to attend.

Please use this time to increase in deeds of virtue and goodness and pray that Almighty Allah lifts away this disease from the world. May He protect all our lands and people from this virus and all diseases and sicknesses. We pray that Allah grants this Ummah relief and cure during this very difficult time. Almighty Allah is the best Protector and He is the most Merciful. Verily He is the best Guardian and the Greatest Hope. Ameen.
