Islamic Studies:
Our Islamic Studies class is designed to give students an elementary understanding of Islam. The course is split into 3 semesters, 17 weeks each semester.
Students will study:
Aqeedah (7 beliefs, Tawheed, Aqeedah Tahawiyyah)
Fiqh (Salah, Wudu, evidences of the Hanafi School)
Seerah (lessons from the blessed life in Makkah, Madinah)
Hadith (the ‘Arba’een of Mullah ‘Ali al-Qari – 40 Hadith)
Lives of the Prophets (covering the 25 Prophets mentioned in the Holy Qur’an)
Social issues (Islamic morals and ethics, respecting parents, Islamic sports)
When: Every other Saturday
Time: 2pm – 4pm
Cost: £30 per month
Qaida & Quran Class:
Tajweed consists of the correct pronunciation of the Arabic alphabet, along with understanding and implementation of science of reciting the Quran. Students are taught to recite Quran with the correct Tajweed pronunciation. We expect all our students to read the Quran correctly and fluently by the time they complete their studies. Our students are also taught to memorise short chapters of the Quran. These are for children who are not able to attend during the weekday madrassah.
When: Every Saturday and Sunday
Time: 2pm – 4pm

Urdu class:
Join us for our Urdu class as we aim to revive the language of the subcontinent amongst younger generations. Following the official Awqaaf syllabus, students will study the Urdu alphabet, moving on to developing their skills in:
Reading, writing and speaking.
We will begin with a basic Urdu Qa’ida, moving on through the official syllabus books.
When: Every Saturday
Time: 10am – 11am
Cost: £10 per month/ £40 per semester
Naat class:
Muslims have been reciting Naat in praise of Allah’s beloved for generations, since the time of the noble companions. We now have a class available in which students will practice reciting traditional poetry with expert tutors developing their vocal skills at the same time. This will help the students build their confidence in speaking and reciting publically.
When: Every Sunday
Time: 6pm – 7pm
Cost: £10 per month/ £40 per semester
